Nyla Kamlet, Founder and Director of PlayTogether NYC

Nyla Kamlet L.C.S.W. the Founder and Director of PlayTogether NYC, is a recognized leader in the field of child development. Her background includes extensive psychological training and clinical experience in child behaviour and development. Her PlayTogether NYC play-based preschool provides children with opportunities to realize their full potential by learning fundamental skills and strategies through interactive play and educational programs. Nyla’s role in the classroom includes that of teacher and clinical supervisor. Her specialties include communication, teaching art and pre-reading skills. She works with each student on an individual basis. Both academic and social goals for each child are set and reviewed by Nyla throughout the year.

Nyla received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. Her postgraduate training from The New York Institute for Psychotherapy is in Infancy, Children and Adolescents.

Enrollment/Office Administrator. Since joining our staff in 2011, Lena keeps our school running smoothly. She came to PlayTogetherNYC from Rockinghorse Nursery School, where she worked for 3 years as the Assistant Teacher.
