Play Together NYC was founded on three basic principles:
Multi-purpose Programming: This is a model that utilizes the idea that each activity can address more than one need or skill at a time. For example, an art project can be fun and exploratory, but it is also designed to work on fine motor skills, visual skills and language processing skills.
Group Learning: Young children enjoy being with other children and can learn at the same time. Even if they are not yet able to play cooperatively, being involved with other children provides a sense of normalcy and adds an element of fun and excitement.
Cost Control: Keeping the cost of our programming within reach of everyone has always been a driving force.

All Play Together classes include:
• Art projects for sensory integration, exploration, and fine motor coordination
• Drama exercises for building creativity and confidence
• Supervised play for spontaneous thinking, social awareness, listening, sharing and emotional processing
